OPENING CLUB MUSK
REFERENCE
In the courtyard of Club Musk in Hilversum in
front of the Buddha statue a temporary shinto
shrine was constructed in order to make the
opening ceremony. During the Great
Purification a flock of birds darkened the sky,
which impressed the audience as a good
omen.
During this celebration a new beer was
introduced, Iki-beer, invented by a Dutchman
who had studied in Japan and who spoke the
legendary words: shinto and buddha have
been hand in hand for centuries in Japan, and
now finally meet here in Holland.
